HOME OF THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP RUNNERS-UP
Rutgers University Mock Trial is an extracurricular organization which gives its members an opportunity to participate in collegiate level competitions as well as expand their knowledge and understanding of the law. The Rutgers University Mock Trial team was founded in 2005 and since then has consisted of 25 undergraduate students who all share the same drive and passion to represent the University. Each year the organization receives a case packet from the American Mock Trial Association (“AMTA”) and prepares diligently for the annually held competitions around the region. On April 16, 2012, the Rutgers University Mock Trial A Team not only won the FIRST PLACE Division title but took home the SECOND PLACE TROPHY out of 658 teams in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND, in their most competitive year to date.
